By entering your VAT number in your account, you ensure that VAT is deducted from the transaction fees. This can be done at two different moments.
During onboarding
During the application process, you will be prompted to enter your VAT number.
After onboarding
Log in to your GoDutch account on a computer
Navigate to Account Details at the bottom left of the menu
Select the VAT number field and add your details
Correct format
NL000000000B00
NL → country code (Netherlands)
999999999 → 9-digit Citizen Service Number (BSN) for sole proprietors or RSIN for legal entities such as BVs
B → fixed letter
99 → 2-digit sequence number (usually B01, but for multiple registrations this can be B02, B03, etc.)
