It may occur that the legal representative of the account needs to be changed. This can happen, for example, when a new (financial) director is appointed within a company, when there is a change of board within an association or foundation, or when a new chairperson or director is appointed within a Homeowners’ Association (VvE).
To process the change of the legal representative, we ask you to follow the steps below.
Step 1: Add the new legal representative
Add the new legal representative to the account by inviting him or her as a user. This can easily be done via the account’s user settings. Follow the steps below.
If you are logged in on a phone:
1.1.1: Click on your initials in the top left corner.
1.1.2: If you have multiple accounts, switch to the correct account.
1.1.3: Select “Team.”
1.1.4: Choose “Invite.”
1.1.5: Enter the required details and click “Next.”
1.1.6: Select the permissions you want to grant to the new user (in the case of changing the Legal Representative, you may grant all permissions).
1.1.7: Go to “Send Invitation.” Copy the invitation and send it to the new user.
If you are logged in on a computer:
1.1.1: Make sure you are in the correct account; switch accounts if necessary.
1.1.2: On the left side, click on “Team,” then select “Users.”
1.1.3: In the top right corner, choose “Invite User.”
1.1.4: Enter the required details and click “Next.”
1.1.5: Select the permissions you want to grant to the new user (in the case of changing the Legal Representative, you may grant all permissions).
1.1.6: Go to “Send Invitation.” Copy the invitation and send it to the new user.
Step 2: Accept invitation and verify
The invited user must then accept the invitation and complete the personal verification process. Once completed, the user will have access to the account. However, the legal representation has not yet been transferred. This must be completed through the following steps.
Step 3: Have the power of attorney signed
To officially change the legal representative, we require a signed power of attorney. This power of attorney must be signed by all current directors. By signing, they confirm that the new person is authorized to act on behalf of the organization.

The form should be completed as follows:
I (current director) – fill in all details
Authorize (name of new legal representative)
Signed (current director)
Step 4: Submit documents
Please send the following documents in reply to the email in which you received this request, or in a new email to [email protected].
The power of attorney form must be submitted together with full and unedited copies of the identity documents of the co-directors, including the outgoing board member if they are currently the legal representative of the account. All four corners of the identity document must be visible.
Step 5: Remove the old representative
Once we have received and verified these documents, we will process the change in the account.
After the change has been completed, you can remove the former legal representative yourself via the user settings.
