(de-)Block your physical card

Below you will find an explanation of how to (temporarily) (un)block your (physical) card.

To temporarily block your card:

  • You must be logged in to the app or on a computer.

  • Once logged in, navigate to cards.

  • Select the card you want to block.

  • Then click on "Freeze".

You can then unblock the card again by choosing "Unfreeze".

If you want to permanently block your card, follow the process below:

  • Once logged in, navigate to cards.

  • Click on "Settings".

  • Then choose "Cancel card permanently".

Important: after doing this, you can no longer unblock or reactivate the card. Only do this if you are certain that the card is lost or stolen.

Unblocking after entering the wrong PIN 3 times

Has the card been blocked because the PIN was entered incorrectly three times? Then the following applies:

  • Wait 24 hours after the last incorrect attempt.

  • Log in via the app or on a computer.

  • Go to "Cards".

  • Go to "Settings" and choose "Unblock card".

Then go to an ATM and enter the original PIN.

  • The PIN does not change.

  • No money needs to be withdrawn.

Important to know

  • The card will only become fully active once the correct PIN is entered.

  • If the PIN is entered incorrectly again, the card will remain blocked.

  • You can find your PIN in the app by going to the relevant card.

This way, the card is safe and ready for use again.
