Are you trying to verify your GoDutch bank account with a payment or lending party such as MultiSafePay, Bridgefund, or Floryn? If the verification keeps failing, this is almost always caused by filling in the wrong account holder name. Here is what you need to know.
Why does this happen?
GoDutch works with Swan to provide payment services. Your payment account is technically held by Swan on behalf of GoDutch. When a lender or payment party verifies your account details, they check the registered account holder name — and that name is Swan, not GoDutch.
What should you fill in?
When asked for the account holder name, fill in Swan. Your IBAN, BIC, and all other account details stay exactly the same — only the account holder name is different from what you might expect.
Which parties does this apply to?
This applies to any party that performs a bank account name check before processing a payment or loan. You will most commonly encounter this with parties such as:
MultiSafePay
Bridgefund
Floryn
New10
Geef.nl
Meesman
My lender is asking for written proof — what can I share?
Some parties may request written confirmation that Swan is your banking provider. In that case, you can generate an export of your transactions which displays both GoDutch and Swan. You can find instructions on how to do so here.
