By connecting your GoDutch account to your bookkeeping software, you can complete your administration with ease, as all your financial data will be displayed in your bookkeeping software in real time. Use the steps below to enable the integration with Yuki accounting software.
💡 You can enable this integration yourself (see Option A), or you can invite your bookkeeper/controller as a team member in your GoDutch account and let them carry out the entire process (see Option B). The latter option requires a paid plan, but it saves you a lot of time. Keep in mind that you need full administration rights, including the ability to create bank entries in your accounting software, to set up the integration.
What we recommend:
Option A → If you don't work with a bookkeeper or accountant.
Option B → If you do work with a bookkeeper or accountant.
Prerequisites
Before you start, make sure you have the following in place:
👤 You have full administration rights in GoDutch, including the ability to create bank entries.
🔑 You have generated an API key in Yuki (see below how to do this).
How to generate an API key in Yuki:
Log in to your Yuki account.
Click the More button in the bottom left corner and go to Settings.
Under the Integrations section, click Webservices.
Click the + button in the top left corner.
Fill in the following details:
Type: Company
Company: choose the administration you want to connect.
Rights: All web services
Click the save button in the top left corner.
Your API key has now been created. You'll use it shortly when setting up the connection in GoDutch.
⚠️ This creates a separate key for each administration you want to connect. Do you want a single global API key for all administrations? Then set the Type to Domain instead of Company.
⚠️ Don't forget to save using the dedicated button in the top left corner, otherwise your API key will be lost.
Option A: do it yourself
Step 1: Set up the connection
Log in to your GoDutch account.
Navigate to Integrations and select Yuki.
Click Connect.
Fill in your API key.
Click Connect.
Choose a name for your connection.
Select your administration (if you have more than one).
Select your general ledger and journal.
Click Save.
The connection is now active! From now on, all executed bank transactions will be visible in your Yuki administration.
☝️ Please note: transactions from before the moment the connection was established won't automatically appear in your Yuki administration. You'll need to upload these via an MT940 file. Contact your bookkeeper for help with this.
Option B: Invite your bookkeeper/accountant to your GoDutch environment and let them carry out the process
Log in to your GoDutch account.
Navigate to Users and click New.
Fill in the personal details of the new team member (i.e. those of your bookkeeper).
Important: the mobile phone number is used for KYC and identity verification. We recommend using your bookkeeper's personal mobile number rather than a business number.
Set the desired permission level. 'View only' rights are sufficient for your bookkeeper to create the connection and generate reports.
Add an address for this team member. This can be a business address.
Share the invitation link with your bookkeeper.
Voilà! Your bookkeeper is now invited to your GoDutch environment and can set up integrations with Yuki, download bank statements, and create custom reports whenever needed – without costing you any extra time.
